Karen Vance

Karen Vance is Administration Manager of Connecting Up Australia.

Currently Karen is assistant to the CEO, and manages the administration and bookkeeping of the organisation.

Prior to her current role, Karen was Administrator at The Contemporary Art Centre of South Australia where she was responsible for administration and financial management of the organisation and Advertising Manager of Contemporary Visual Arts + Culture Broadsheet magazine. Karen has experience in the following industries: law, arts, non-profit organisations. She has knowledge of legal procedures, government funding processes, knowledge of the Australian non-profit arts sector, and the legal requirements and procedures of incorporated associations and non-profit Boards.

Karen has a Graduate Diploma in Arts & Cultural Management (UniSA) and a Bachelor of Visual Arts (UniSA).

On a personal note, Karen enjoys reading, gardening, spending time with her son and shopping (particularly online!).
