Call for speakers for our first not-for-profit social media forum!

We're looking for speakers from various not-for-profit organisations to be involved in our first ever social media forum. If you have successfully implemented social media in your organisation and would like to share your experience with others, then we'd like to hear from you!

social media forumConnecting Up's not-for-profit social media forum aims to provide an opportunity for delegates to hear from other not-for-profits about best practice social media strategies and campaigns through the use of case studies and success stories, allowing delegates to learn from their experience and gather ideas for their own organisations.

The forum will be held in three cities: Adelaide (8 November), Melbourne (12 November) and Sydney (14 November), and we're looking for session speakers in each city to join our keynote speaker Gavin Heaton (author of Servant of Chaos and president of not-for-profit organisation Vibewire).

There's no limitation in topics - the program for each city will be different depending on the speakers we get for each event. If you'd like to participate in the event as a speaker, all we ask is that you fulfill these two criteria:

  • You must be currently working at a not-for-profit organisation.
  • You must use real social media project or campaign examples, case studies or success stories.

There's only one more step to take. Download the call for speakers information document (which contains further information and some ideas for topics), fill out the form and submit it by COB Monday 30 July 2012

If you need more information or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Christine Halim at ch@connectingup.org or on (08) 8212 8555 (ext 219).

We look forward to hearing from many of you!
