It's an exciting time for us here in the Connecting Up offices - and not just because of the Easter long weekend! The Connecting Up 2011: Reboot Your Nonprofit is just around the corner, and we're looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Connecting Up 2011: Reboot your Nonprofit is all about helping Australian nonprofits use technology better. We have some great speakers coming along, addressing topics which are very relevant to the modern nonprofit. Hot topics such as cloud computing, social media, community building and new fundraising opportunities will be discussed.

Workshop with Holly Ross and Allen 'Gunner' Gunn

The workshop on June 3 is proving to be popular, however spaces for this are limited. Our keynote speakers, Holly Ross and Allen 'Gunner' Gunn will be joining forces to bring you a highly interactive workshop on technology leadership. They will be bringing together many of the topics discussed at the conference in this day-long workshop in order to equip you with practical advice to take back to your nonprofit organisation.

The workshop is designed to help participants:

• Understand the relationship between strategy and technology
• Explore a collaborative framework for technology planning and decision-making
• Discuss keys to successful technology implementations and sustainable technology impact
• Learn how to save money and time with process-driven approaches to technology projects
• Consider how to implement technology organically and openly in a staff-driven model
