We're gearing up for Connecting Up 2011: Reboot Your Nonprofit on June 1-3. It's going to be a fantastic conference for Australian not for profit organisations. During the lead up to the event, we'll be blogging about different topics that will be covered so that you will get a good idea of what to expect. There will also be guest blogs and videos from some of the 40+ speakers that will be at CU11.
Community Engagement
Each nonprofit has a story to tell, and it should be shared! How your nonprofit builds and engages its community plays an important role in how that story is spread. At Connecting Up 2011: Reboot Your Nonprofit, there will be a number of breakout sessions dedicated to helping your nonprofit better use current technology to engage your community. Each session will have a slightly different focus, whether it's using social media, finding fundraisers, or engaging a specific type of demographic.
Here are some of the speakers who will be talking about community engagement. For a full list of speakers and topics, please visit the Connecting Up 2011: Reboot Your Nonprofit program page.
