Get your entry in for TechSoup's digital story telling competition

Every year, our partner TechSoup runs a Digital Story Telling Challenge (#TSDigs) which gives nonprofits the opportunity to learn how to create great videos, have their work showcased and win some great prizes.

This February, nonprofits will be able learn and submit their digital stories to TechSoup to go in the draw to win a number of prizes.

This year, we'll be working with them to help nonprofits in Australia and New Zealand to get involved. We'll be sponsoring a "Best Australian" and "Best New Zealand" award with prizes also for runners up.

• Australian winner: 1 full scholarship to Connecting Up 2012 Conference
  (including airfare, accommodation and pass to the conference; if Sydney residents, they can choose to stay in hotel for duration of conference OR be offered TWO free passes for 2-day conference + 1 free Master Class pass)
• Australian runner-up: 1 part scholarship to CU12 Conference
  (1 free CU12 conference pass)
• NZ winner: 1 full scholarship to Connecting Up 2012 Conference New Zealand
  (including airfare, accommodation and pass to the conference)
• NZ runner-up: 1 part scholarship to CU12NZ
  (1 free CU12 conference pass)

Resources

We will also be blogging and sharing resources in our Learning Centre throughout the month to help you create your own digital story to enter into the competition. You can also join in with the #npau TweetChat happening next week on Wednesday 8th (3:30pm AEDT) where we'll be talking about the basics of digital story telling and what free tools you can use to create something special.
