Ever wished that donation you made could be used again? The Origin Foundation have recently supported an organisation that will let you do just that. Here's how Good Return does it.

Australian nonprofit organisations have been known for the positive impact which they make overseas. Whether it's through programs such as child sponsorship, disaster relief or even traveling to other countries to make a difference - Australians know how to give to those outside of our shores.
It's no surprise then that the rise of microfinance organisations and initiatives have been garnering more support over the years.
Recently, it was announced that The Origin Foundation and microfinance organisation, Good Return were partnering to help thousands of families lift themselves out of poverty.
What's interesting about Good Return, an initiative of World Education Australia, is that they're mixing microfinance with crowdfunding, allowing people to find loans to support and pledge funds to see the loan happen. The loan is then repayed back to lenders, allowing them to support another loan. It's a simple process, but has a huge impact on those in poverty trying to start their own small business.
The ability see where your money is going, and rally with others online to support those struggling with poverty is a great way to lift the level of engagement with lenders. It also gives the site a much more personal feel as you can see photos of the people you're helping and hear their stories.
You can find out more about microfinance and success stories at the Good Return website.
