Google have released YouTube for Nonprofits in Australia

You may or may not use YouTube for your nonprofit already. A number of organisations are embedding a YouTube channel in their home page to futher communicate a message or explain what they do. See some examples here :

You may not know that YouTube has some special tools and features which enable you to enhance your video mesage and engagement with your audience. One of these is called "Annotations" or you might refer to it as a "Call to action" - enabling links to other pages eg. a Donate Now page. You can imagine how powerfuol this might be if you have a very emotive video capturing the hearts of your viewers to then prompt them to act in that moment.

These special feautres previously came at a cost and many nonprofits have been watching carefully to see when it would be released to Australian organisation like it has been in the US and UK , for free. Well it's here: http://www.youtube.com/nonprofits
