For the past 18 years, the iAwards have been celebrating technology innovation in Australia. This year Connecting Up was proud be an endorsing partner, highlighting organisations using technology for social change.
Three outstanding solutions recently took out state iAwards, Tapestry (NSW), Calxa (Qld) and Live Below the Line by Thoughtworks (Vic). All will now go on to compete at the national finals in Melbourne 7-8 August. The final winner will represent Australia at the APICTA awards in Brunei in December.

Entry is open to any application of software, hardware or its combination to support the community within its society with the aim: to promote the rights and needs of particular groups; or to improve the wellbeing, quality of life and standard of living of the community with the ultimate intent to bridge the digital divide developed by an organisation (private, commercial or non profit) other than the government.
