The WetlandCare Australia National Art and Photography Competition, to celebrate World Wetlands Day, is on again for its 4th year. The theme for the 2011 competition is Forested Wetlands: their importance and wise use.The competition has categories in art and photography for children and adults, with some great prizes to be won, including the $1500 NSW Catchment Management Authorities Open Art 1st Prize. This is an excellent opportunity to explore your local wetlands and waterways, essential elements of our environment and endless sources of inspiration.WetlandCare Australia is a registered charity, working to protect and restore Australian wetlands.
