It's digital storytelling month, and our special guest for our #npau tweetchat is Tom Dawkins from crowdfunding site, StartSomeGood.
When it comes to the online fundraising, Tom Dawkins knows his stuff. As one of the co-founders of StartSomeGood, he's been helping not-for-profits and social enterprises use the power of peerfunding (also known as crowdfunding) to raise money for various projects. In Australia they've helped The Spur Foundation raise money for their Soften the Fck Up initiative and also helped RiAus close the gap in Indigenous education. Petra Dzurovcinova from RiAus wrote a great Learning Centre article about their experience.
As part of our digital storytelling month, Tom will be our guest for our regular #npau tweetchat where he'll be answering questions about how to use digital storytelling to engage your supporters and raise funds for projects.
Our tweetchat will be held on Wednesday, 11 June at 1:30pm AEST (a little different to our previous time slot).
