Our survey draw prize goes to a great cause!

The Australian Suicide Prevention Foundation is a wonderful cause providing essential information to those at risk of suicide in their hours of need.

The Australian Suicide Prevention Foundation was the lucky winner of the prize draw for the Connecting Up Survey on the Nonprofit Sector's use of technology - winning the Canon HD Video Camera, tripod, bag and cleaning kit.

We had over 2000 respondents to the survey. Well done to everyone who did it.

John said, "We can certainly make good use of the video camera and related equipment in our service expansion program."

Congratulations to John and his team.

CEO, John Hardy is typical of the amazing workforce in the nonprofit sector who despite being busy and having limited resources, he found the time to complete a survey.

As we have found in the past through other research projects the staff of nonprofits will make the time to support such research in the hope that it may support the development of this sector and ultimately the groups we all serve.

We would also like to thank once again all the participants of the research project and we look forward to publishing a useful report with rich case studies and information on the nonprofit sector's use of technology by December and sharing it with our stakeholders for further consideration and future planning.
