Is your not-for-profit looking for a way to get an IT project underway but just don't have the people-power or know-how? Here's how RMIT can help.
Teams of final year RMIT students are ready and waiting! As part of the Bachelor of Business, Business Information Systems (BIS), students will be undertaking a final year Capstone subject.
Over 16 weeks, teams of 6 students will be required to specify, design and implement an information system as part of a real project for a real client to give them the experience they need to better understand the software development cycle.
RMIT are now calling on Australian not-for-profits to provide IT projects for the teams to work over the August-November period.
One organsiation that recently had a project worked on was Moira Youth Services who needed a central intranet portal to provide easy access to documents, a more effective way to collaborate and task automation. The completion of the project meant that time was given back to their employees to focus on their services and even provide new ones.
