Vote! Help students change the world at the Microsoft Imagine Cup

This week, 350 students from 75 countries will be coming heading to Sydney to compete in the finals of the Microsoft Imagine Cup for the top prizes.

This is the 10th anniversary of the Imagine Cup and Connecting Up has been proud to partner with the 2012 competition. In the past ten years, over 1.65 million students from around the world have worked to provide real solutions to not-for-profits and causes to make a difference.

Now, it’s your turn to participate.

The People’s Choice Awards are now open, allowing you to vote for your favourite project from different countries, including Australia. There’s a huge range of apps, games and software tackling issues from health care to racial inequality. Just browsing through the video gallery is inspiring to see what these students are creating.

The winning team will be awarded $10,000 USD, so check out the entries, vote and share it with your community. There may be something there that can help your not-for-profit in the future. The more people voting, the more awareness there will be of these great projects by the students.
