Workshop: Mobile Apps for Nonprofits with Jindou Lee

Nonprofits across Australia are switching on to the potential that the mobile world offers. Whether it's developing new applications, designing mobile websites or leveraging QR codes - mobile technology holds a lot of scope for nonprofit organisations.

Adelaide app developer Mighty Kingdom recently worked with AutismSA to build their iModeling app, funded by the Telstra Foundation. Co-founder, Jindou Lee will be the guest speaker at the October Adelaide NetSquared meetup, being held on the 27th, will be a event for people to come along to and hear Jindou's insights into the mobile world.

Following this free event, Connecting Up will be running a workshop with Jindou designed to give nonprofits practical first steps in having their own app developed. Jindou will look beyond 'donation apps' and show how mobile apps can be used not only to raise awareness of a cause, but also as a way to generate an income to support your organisation. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, November 2.

This workshop will be a fantastic opportunity for nonprofits to spend time with an experienced developer who is familiar with the sector.
