More not-for-profits are using video to tell their story online. With recent donations of Flip cameras to organisations around Australia, we want to help them share their story with more people.

Hi. My name is Marie. I am the teeny new intern here at Connecting Up and it seems I came at the right time too. As it so happens, this October is “Marketing Month” and I’ve been assigned to exploring the wonderful world of ‘digital storytelling’.
Digital storytelling is your imagination brought to life. It has gone beyond the homemade videos with tacky random sound effects and evolved into one of the most fun, captivating ways of communicating messages to an audience. Thanks to the latest technology, organisations can approach digital storytelling from many unique perspectives.
A while ago, nearly 600 organizations were provided with funky Flip Cameras through our DonorTec program. 5 months on, we will be following up with them to find out how they’re using the cameras and the impact it's had on their organisation.
Has your organisation received a donation of Flip cameras? We’d love to hear from you and see what you’ve been up to with the cameras.
