Are We There Yet?

Are We There Yet? - an ongoing nonprofit technology benchmarking service

"Are We There Yet?"(AWTY), a capacity benchmarking tool for the nonprofit sector. Developed for Connecting Up Australia by Digital Business Insights, AWTY will initially allow you to benchmark your technology capacity against almost 1,000 nonprofits who completed our detailed survey in October 2008. Then, as more and more nonprofit organisations use the AWTY benchmark tool online, the richer the benchmark data becomes.

Soon we will add a section that allows you to benchmark your efforts to be 'green' and environmentally responsible, and other areas of nonprofit capacity benchmarks will follow over time. The real advantage of 'Are We There Yet?' is that it also helps you answer the question of 'What Now?' Complete the survey and then we will direct you to as many resources as we can that will help you get to the next stage.

NFP technology survey 2008

2008 Australian Nonprofit Sector Technology Capacity Survey

In 2008 Connecting Up Australia commissioned Digital Business Insights to conduct and analyse a survey to benchmark the technology capacity of Australia’s nonprofits. Over 930 organisations of all types and sizes responded from all round Australia and we are pleased to make the results available as a free download. There are two reports available: one from Digital Business Insights providing details of the survey results and a series of case studies of technology implementations in small to medium organisations, and one from us here at Connecting Up Australia. This includes a comparison with the previous survey we conducted in 2006 and some recommendations for the nonprofit sector, Governments and businesses.

So download the documents, put your feet up and have a read, and then tell us what you think.
