Elliott Bledsoe is a Project Officer with Creative Commons Australia (http://creativecommons.org.au), the organisation that administers the Australian Creative Commons (http://creativecommons.org) licences and supports Australian licence users. At the core of the Creative Commons project is a suite of standardised licences, freely available to creators, that foster sharing and collaboration. Creative Commons builds upon the all rights reserved of traditional copyright to create a voluntary some rights reserved system.
He also sits on the board of Flying Arts (www.flyingarts.org.au), a provider of arts workshops and exhibition opportunities for remove and regional Queenslanders, and on the board of Youth Arts Queensland (www.yaq.org.au), which promotes, advocates and provides access to the arts for young people in Queensland and is the Creative Director of Artcast (http://artcast.cc), a free art podcasting service that is designed to open up new avenues to engaging with, understanding and investing in art.
