Connecting Up 2012 Coming Soon

The Connecting Up 2012: Unleashing the Power of Your Nonprofit program is filled with great keynotes and speakers. With a number of streams, power sessions and workshops there are plenty of options to make the most of this year's conference.

Streams

CU12 will be focusing on three streams - social media/online, marketing/communications and technology. Each of these streams will feature a number of breakout sessions, and power sessions, giving you the opportunity to take away something valuable for your organisation.

Power sessions

This year we will also be bringing you a number of power sessions featuring two speakers on similar topics, giving you the chance to hear from more professionals and learn from their experience.

Masterclasses

International keynote speakers, Allen Gunn and Nancy Schwartz will be running their own (optional) masterclasses on day 3. Spend time with these experts in their fields with practical lessons and take-aways. Places for these masterclasses are limited.

Take Control of Your Online Destiny The Bullseye Marketing Plan Workshop: How to Craft a Plan that Moves People to Act Now
Allen Gunn, AspirationTech Nancy Schwartz, Getting Attention
New platforms and channels come online every day, promising to help not-for-profits to better magnify their message and engage their target audiences. But it is challenging to maintain a coherent set of tools, services, and accounts that support organisational needs while also focusing on mission and sustaining compelling messaging.

This masterclass will explain concrete methods for managing and sustaining online presence and vitality, with a focus on processes that outlive the tools they aim to support. See the full description of this masterclass

A clear and comprehensive marketing plan is to most reliable path to motivating your target audiences to act now and a practical, realistic guide to prioritising marketing opportunities.

These advantages are absolutely crucial for not-for-profits in this time of decreased budgets and increased competition. Here’s how to get them: Immerse yourself in this intensive, limited-enrollment master workshop, and marketing expert Nancy Schwartz will help you strip away the muddled messages and endless to-do lists that diminish your marketing impact.

You’ll exit the workshop with an outline of a focused, practical marketing plan that will work for your organisation, a clear understanding of your target audiences and the messages that will move them to act now.
