The AIR-AP1141N-A-K9 is one of the Aironet 1140 Series of WiFi-certified 802.11n wireless access points. This single-band, 2.4-GHz access point with built-in antennas provides high-capacity, high-security, enterprise-class features in an unobtrusive, office-class design. It can be used in regulatory domains that do not allow 802.11a/5-GHz operation
The product requires the AIR-PWR-B power supply for connection to local power, the AIR-PWRINJ4 power injector for power over Ethernet, or another inline power source.
The 802.11n standard provides at least six times the throughput of 802.11a/g networks. The access point is backward compatible with 802.11a/b/g clients.
The access point can be configured using the console port when there is no Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server in the network or when there is no wired connection between the access point and the LAN. The AIR-CONCAB1200 console cable is required for connection to the console port.
