Q: I've just received my Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 donation. There are 4 discs in total and I can't work out which I need to install. Can you help me please?
A: To install the core Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 programs, you need to install the disc which has "Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 (Volume Licensing Key Required)" written at the top of it.
The rest of the discs install optional components. If you require Microsoft Business Contact Manager 2010, you can install it by using the disc marked "Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 (Microsoft Business Contact Manager 2010)".
If you require Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 (now called Microsoft Lync 2010), you can install it by using the disc marked "Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 (Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2)".
Finally, if you already have a Microsoft SharePoint server and wish to take advantage of Microsoft Office Web Apps 2010, you will need to use the Microsoft Office Web Apps 2010 disc to install these on your Microsoft SharePoint Server.
