Participate: the new tools of digital engagement

 

Richard Wilson, founder of Involve and director of Izwe (http://www.izwe.com), is one of Europe’s leading experts and practitioners in new models of digital engagement and participation; pioneering new approaches that are transforming the way government, society and citizens work together.

Richard has designed hundreds of successful public engagement programs for governments and business including the European Commission, the BBC, many UK Government departments, the French Treasury and the Californian State Government.

In this masterclass, Richard will share some of the tools and platforms he has been working with and explore how they work and the risks and opportunities they bring. He will also show how the experience he has accumulated from his recent work can be applied to some of the current engagement challenges that masterclass participants are working on right now in Australia.
