The march, to represent the diversity of volunteer involving organisations in South Australia, will commence from the Torrens Parade Grounds, commencing at 10.30am sharp, and finish at Victoria Square near the fountain where refreshments (including a celebratory sausage sizzle for volunteers) will be served.
The formal launch, by His Excellency Rear Admiral Kevin Scarce AS CSC RANR Governor of South Australia, will take place at 1pm.
All volunteer-involving organisations are encouraged to participate with their volunteers. Please note that numbers are restricted to 20 per group.
Banners/flags/signage are essential to promote your volunteer-involving organisations so make sure you bring along these items.
If you or your group do not belong to a volunteer-involving organisation, you are welcome to participate under the banner of "We Support Volunteering" (this banner is supplied by VSA&NT). Business/corporate handouts are not permitted, although identifiable T-shirts are welcome.
