The power of videoblogging
|
|
If you missed the Power of Videoblogging workshop with Jay Dedman and Ryanne Hodson on 13 May don’t worry they have provided links to tutorials for you to get started creating your own videoblog.
At Freevlog http://freevlog.org/learn you can access a range of short videos to help you start to create your own videoblog. The materials are broken up into three sections:
- Telling stories
- Making Videos
- Publishing videos
Big tip for everyone who attended – Jay and Ryanne have added three more videos to their tutorial site since the workshop.
You can also access the slide show from their presentation at the conference workshop at slideshare. We will also be editing and adding the video from the workshop to the Connecting Up website soon.
For those of you who have already created your first film/video you might be interested in entering into Lights. Camera. Help - A nonprofit film festival, inviting organisations to tell their stories through films and videos. The film festival is dedicated to nonprofit and grassroots organizations. Proceeds from the festival are donated to the organisation that is the subject of the winning film. http://www.lightscamerahelp.com/ - great idea.
A Big thank you to Jay and Ryanne for this wonderful work and sharing of resources.
