Video blogging is quickly becoming one of the most popular ways to connect and talk with the world around you.
A 3 year traffic chart of YouTube.com from Alexa shows the entrance of YouTube on the scene in 2006 and the growth has not abated. In January, YouTube, owned by Google, was ranked as the top U.S. video sharing platform with over 6.4 billion videos viewed. YouTube accounted for more than 99% of all videos viewed on the web.
Many people are finding that using video blogs to express their ideas, explain a solution to a problem, or to teach a skill is much easier and faster than writing about it.
If you would like to add video blogging to your list of skills a full day workshop with Jay Dedman and Ryanne Hodson will provide participants with the opportunity to hear about and learn how to use free tools to create and publish powerful videos. You will get to:
- listen to stories of how to get press coverage, create action and raise money
- find out how other have used web video to help them to create interest and awareness
- learn when its best to hire a video team and when you can do the video yourself
- craft a workflow to fit video into your already busy schedule
- learn how to maximise the effectiveness of your video.
To ensure a place at the workshop go to registration. Places for the workshop are limited.
