Who or what is Opera Australia?
Opera Australia is the national opera company. The company has been performing on stage since 1956. In 2004, the company has given 226 performances in Sydney and Melbourne. They are best known for their association with Dame Joan Sutherland, and for Baz Luhrmann's production of Puccini's La bohéme.
