Social Traders provides Australia’s only social enterprise certification. To qualify for certification, an organisation must:

• Have a defined primary social, cultural, or environmental purpose consistent with a public or community benefit
• Derive a substantial portion of their income from trade
• Invest efforts and resources into their defined purpose to the degree that public/community benefit outweighs the private benefit
