Nine winners have received awards at this year’s Australian Not-for-Profit Technology awards in front of a record audience at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The annual awards, sponsored by Oracle Netsuite, took place on day two of the Connecting Up and Infoxchange Transform Conference 2019, and saw volunteers, accidental IT people, Indigenous storytellers, innovators and government agencies recognised.
With 16 nominees shortlisted, gala dinner attendees were treated to videos from all contenders, providing a unique opportunity to celebrate the work of unsung heroes from across Australia.

The Australian Not-for-Profit Technology awards are a key element of the annual Connecting Up Conference, which this year was focused on Digital Transformation within the non-profit sector and offered a packed program of world class speakers and masterclasses.
The 2019 Conference was the biggest and best attended event yet, and included for the first time a special Community Council for Australia Pre-Election Panel, supported by Pro Bono Australia, Connecting Up and Infoxchange, with the ALP’s shadow minister for charities and not-for-profits Dr Andrew Leigh and Greens spokesperson Senator Rachel Siewert taking questions from conference delegates.

Connecting Up Inc was established in 1981 as Community Information Support Service of SA Inc. (CISSsa). CISSsa was established as the peak community information agency in South Australia, providing essential community services information in a variety of print and, later, electronic formats.
