The MR70-HW is a Cisco Meraki MR Series cloud-managed wireless access point. This dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 access point is designed for use outdoors or in low-density environments. The enterprise cloud license provides five years of access to the Meraki cloud platform, product updates, and support.

To power this device, you'll need a switch with PoE/PoE+ or a compatible power source.

Obtaining Your Product

Connecting Up might request additional information to verify that your organisation matches the Cisco philanthropy guidelines. You will receive a confirmation email from Connecting Up when your request is approved, followed by additional messages with shipping and delivery information. You should receive your product within three weeks of the approval date.

This product cannot be shipped to a PO Box. If your organisation's shipping address is a PO Box or is different from its physical location, we will ship your request to your organisation's physical address.

Hardware Details

Licensing Requirements	This product includes a license that provides product updates and support for a specified duration. Meraki devices must be licensed to remain operational. You'll need to obtain new licenses before your old licenses expire to continue using this Meraki product. If you choose not to renew, you will no longer be able to manage this product and it will cease to function. Meraki licenses use a "co-termination" licensing model by default, but you can opt in to per-device licensing through the Meraki Dashboard after you set up your account. Co-termination licensing means that when you request new licenses for your devices, the terms of your new and existing licenses will be averaged together so that all of your licenses will expire on the same date. Per-device licensing means that each of your products is licensed individually, and the licenses assigned to those products might expire on different dates. Warranty and Support	Meraki covers this product with a lifetime warranty. Meraki provides enterprise-level support for all products with valid licenses.
Cancellations and Returns	If you need to cancel a request, you must do so before your request is approved by Connecting Up. Damaged or incorrect products can be exchanged or returned for a refund. Cisco Meraki generally does not accept returns for other reasons. However, if you have special circumstances that you would like us to review, contact us within 20 days of receipt of the items.

Eligibility and Restrictions

If eligible, your organization may request any number of products for a total of up to US$8,000 in administrative fees per fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). You can place as many requests as needed each year, as long as the total administrative fees for all of your requests do not exceed the maximum.

Organizations that have purchased Cisco products within the last six months or that plan to purchase Cisco products in the next six months are not eligible for products in this program. This applies to purchases made directly from Cisco or through resellers or retail channels.

Do Not Combine with Other Requests

Requests for donated Cisco and Meraki products may not include products from other programs. You must request products from other programs separately.

Affiliates of National or International Organizations Not Eligible

Affiliates of parent organizations with more than 20 national or international affiliates are not eligible for donated Cisco and Meraki products. This is true even if your affiliate is considered a separate entity and is not funded by the parent organization. Examples of such organizations are the YMCA, the Red Cross, and Amnesty International.

Shipping and Fulfillment

You should receive your donation request within three weeks of the approval date.

All product donations are subject to change or delay without notice. Cisco reserves the right to substitute functionally equivalent products for any request.

If you need to cancel or change a request, you must do so before your request is approved by Connecting Up.

Warranty, Support, and Returns

Cisco generally does not accept returns on donated devices.

If you receive the wrong product, please contact us within 20 days of receipt of the items to arrange a return.

Cisco Takeback and Recycle Program

Cisco is a green company. Donated Cisco and Meraki products that are no longer useful or have reached their end of life can be returned to Cisco through the Takeback and Recycle program. It is open to all users of Cisco equipment and its associated brands and subsidiaries.

Cisco Product Grant Program

The Cisco Product Grant Program is another option for some nonprofits to receive Cisco networking products. This program offers individual nonstandard networking bundles as donations to select nonprofits. For more information, see the Cisco Product Grant program.

Eligible organizations can receive donations from either the Cisco donation program at Connecting Up or the Cisco Product Grant Program, but they can't receive donations from both programs during the same fiscal year.

Consultants

Unless you have a dedicated networking or IT professional on staff, you should consider hiring a consultant to implement your Cisco products. The administrative fee for donated Cisco products doesn't include installation of your networking equipment.
