An Azure DevOps Server device CAL authorizes one computer or other device to access Azure DevOps Server (formerly Visual Studio Team Foundation Server), regardless of the number of users. For example, a workstation that's shared by several employees could be used to access the server. This offer provides one device CAL. User CALs for licensing individuals are also available.

A SQL Server user client access license (CAL) authorizes one user to access SQL Server from any device when the server is deployed using the Client/Server mode.
