Course Information:

Adobe InDesign is Adobe’s popular print design application, a part of Adobe Creative Cloud. It is a flexible program that is most commonly used for producing annual reports, flyers, business cards, and any other printed material.

It can also be used to setup templates for digital assets, including social media.

In this webinar, you will learn how to do the basics of Adobe InDesign, to create basic flyers and documents for your not-for-profit. This includes:

  • Setting up your document, including margins, bleed and columns
  • Understanding and creating page layouts and spreads
  • Creating reusable page templates
  • Developing and reusing title and paragraph styles
  • Creating and editing text, including linking text regions together
  • Importing and placing images from Photoshop, Illustrator, and photos, including manipulating image frames
  • File management
  • Exporting files in a print ready format

What is not included in the program?

  • Creating interactive PDFs and on screen assets
  • Creating more advanced documents

Course Outcomes:

By the end of this webinar your organisation will have:

  • Basic skills in how to create documents in InDesign
  • The ability to edit documents that designers have prepared for you and designed in InDesign
