Next week is National Volunteer Week, and Connecting Up will be taking the opportunity it presents to celebrate our amazing volunteers, who make so much of what we do possible. Connecting Up volunteers are the backbone of SAcommunity, which provides South Australia with detailed and accurate information about thousands of services in our state. They also make a huge contribution to the culture within our office, bringing humour, friendliness and experiences from all over the world to our work environment. To mark National Volunteer week ,Connecting Up will be profiling some of our amazing volunteering team to recognise them and thank them for the work they do.Posted on 15/05/2020 by -
Hexworks is a technology management consultancy based in Yarraville, Melbourne. We understand that technology was originally invented to help and support people, not hinder them, and we are working tirelessly to try to restore that balance. At Hexworks, we don’t see ourselves as working in a technical-focused company – rather we solve business and organisaton problems using technical solutions. This means that unless a shiny technical toy actually addresses your organisation’s issues or helps you reach your goals, we simply won’t recommend it to you. And instead of just fixing problems when they crop up, we aim to build resilient systems, and fix problems right, the first time. For six years, we’ve been growing and improving, and we’re doing IT better.

The Cisco RPS 675 Redundant Power System (RPS), model PWR675-AC-RPS-N1=, provides N+1 redundancy. The RPS 675 provides seamless failover to internal power supply failures for one of up to six switches. The RPS 675 automatically senses when a connected device has experienced an internal power supply failure. It then begins to supply power to the device. The RPS supplies power until the power supply of the failed device is replaced or the device is replaced. You can then return the RPS to active mode so that it is available to supply power to another device.
