Webinar recording: How to build a communication strategy that achieves real organisational outcomes
In this presentation you will learn why having a communication strategy is so important and how to create one for your own organisation that meets real-world organisational goals.
In today's rapid-fire-aim world of social media, too many organisations apply a scattergun approach to their external relations. But this approach rarely achieves much; all too often it just confuses the audience and puts them 'offside' because of the irrelevant material being hurled at them.
However, savvy organisations are strategic in their approach to communications with the outside world. They have a roadmap of where they are going, they have sensible expectations about the resources that are going to be needed, and they have real-world measurements in place to help keep them on track and to show senior management that social media does indeed have a very real place in the organisation's communication mix.
In this webinar you will discover:
- the essential elements that make up a communication strategy
- where to go to get key resources - for free
- why being on every social network may not be right for your organisation
- what resources are out there to help you stay on top of today's communication world.
Webinar attendees will have access to a workbook that you can use after the webinar to help you move forward.
