Key learning objectives
This webinar will discuss three aspects of a boards work; The role and responsibilities of a board are explored to discuss the extent of a board’s decision making that is the boundaries of the board’s work and their legal responsibilities. Just as important is recognising that being on a board can be very satisfying and even exhilarating. It will enable committed board members to achieve their own goals and visions BUT being on a board is also fraught with danger! A board member can never be complacent, there are activities that should kept at arm’s length to ensure there are no mistakes that cause dysfunction or legal breaches.
