The Digital Health Check is a report provided by Infoxchange through our Digital Transformation Hub. It provides a comprehensive overview of your organisation's digital capability across the five NFP technology domains, along with a roadmap and timeline for improvement.

Many NFPs know they need to improve their IT but knowing what is lacking and what to prioritise – or even where to start – is a challenge for organisations with skilled IT staff on the payroll. This report is designed to equip yourself and your organisation with the knowledge of where you are at today, actions to improve your digital capability and maximise your impact.

The Digital Health Check involves:

  • A summary "snapshot" of your organisation's overall digital health – get the crucial information on one easy-to-understand page you can use in any report or business case.
  • A detailed report that will analyse your IT hardware, software and financial spend, and assess your digital health across, our five technology domains and 27 categories.
  • Benchmark your IT spend, staff satisfaction and staff skills to sector averages.
  • Recommended initiatives with a roadmap for your organisation to implement over the next 12-18 months.

Similar analyses and reports from traditional IT companies can range in the tens of thousands of dollars. The Digital Health Check from Infoxchange is only $1950 ex GST for all NFPs and provides a concrete starting point for your digital transformation journey.

The report is suitable for organisations with 50 staff or less.

The entirety of the process will typically take three to four weeks, depending on availabilities.

  1. We meet with you on a 30-minute MS teams call for an overview of the process and talk through the NFP data collection template
  2. You complete the NFP data collection template, that includes:
    • Information about your organisation (staff numbers, OpEx, types of services, etc)
    • Your IT spend and technology assets (PCs, phones, servers, etc) & their age
    • The systems you use to store your data
    • What works well in your IT environment & priorities for improvement
    • Information across the five NFP digital domains
    • We will support as needed
  3. Distribute our ready-made IT staff satisfaction survey to staff & volunteers
  4. We meet with you again on a 90-minute MS teams call to talk through where you are at within the five technology domains
  5. We will take all the information collected and generate the report
  6. We meet with you one final time to present your Digital Health Check report and answer any questions you may have

What will we ask of you?

This process will require a staff member (typically the individual responsible for technology in your NFP) to be the main point of contact for the entirety of the process.

This will take about half to one day (depending on how well your existing technology is documented) out of the staff member’s workload to complete the data collection and meetings to generate the report.

You may also need two to three hours to meet with your team/manager to discuss the outcomes and refine/validate the roadmap for your NFP.
